The Walnut Wing Cane-Top Booth is a tall, enclosing booth for dining rooms where privacy matters. Solid wing ends rise to about 1,200 mm and curve over at the top; between them, a band of natural cane runs along the crest of the back, letting light through above head height.
Below the cane, the back is upholstered in two horizontal grey pads with a deep channel between them, over a seat cushion in the same finish. The front of the seat box is panelled timber, split into two fielded panels, and the whole booth stands on square tapered legs rather than a solid plinth.
Why legs. A raised booth is far easier to clean under, which matters on pub floors that are mopped every night, and it reads as furniture rather than fit-out in a period room.
Construction. Solid hardwood wings and legs on a hardwood and plywood seat box; cane set into removable framed panels; seat and back pads screwed on from behind for re-covering.
Options. Single- or double-sided, length, cane or upholstered crest, stain, and upholstery in faux leather, fabric or hide. Made in sections that pass through a standard pub door.
