This booth is built round a frame. A black-lacquered timber surround wraps the back and ends in one continuous, round-cornered line, and a slim brass rail on short posts runs along the top of each back, giving a hand-hold for guests and a crisp edge seen across the room.
Inside, the upholstery is sage-green leather: two deep horizontal back rolls, each divided by a dark vertical strap, and a thick rounded seat cushion with a soft front edge. The straight booths are shown in back-to-back rows with stone-top tables on fluted timber pedestals. A curved version forms a half-round around a round table for groups.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood carcass with lacquered timber frame; back rolls upholstered as separate pieces for replacement; brass rail bolted through the frame; recessed black plinth. Back-to-back units share a spine to save floor space.
Where it works. Restaurants and hotel dining rooms with a dark, modern palette, and city bars where booths line long floors.
Options. Leather or faux leather colour, frame finish (black, walnut, oak), rail finish, straight, back-to-back or curved, and length for two to four. Foams and fabrics specified to BS 7176 medium hazard on request.
