The end of a booth run is where seating gets damaged: chair legs, handbags, trolleys and suitcases all hit it. An upholstered end tears and has to be re-covered. The Harrow closes each end with a 30 mm solid walnut panel, continuous with the base timber, so it can simply be sanded and re-oiled.
The booth itself has a horizontal channel back and a plain seat, in a hard-wearing contract fabric with contrasting piping.
Why it pays. On busy gangways, solid timber ends are the single most effective way to extend the life of booth seating. They also give the run a finished, furniture-like look.
Construction. Closed seat box, braced back frame, solid walnut end panels joined to a timber base, channel back over firm foam.
Where it works. Hotel restaurants, station and airport catering, chains and any venue where seating meets heavy traffic.
Options. Timber species and finish, back style, length, end panel at one or both ends.
