The Striped Snug Armchair is a bold occasional chair for a room that needs a bit of colour. The upholstered body is covered in a burgundy and cream striped chenille, with the stripes running over the back and down the seat. It sits in a black-stained timber frame made of round rails: straight arms on short uprights and runner-style legs at floor level.
The open frame makes the chair look lighter than its size, and the runners spread its weight on carpet and timber floors.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood body with foam over webbing; solid timber round-rail frame, bolted to the body so they can be separated for re-upholstery. Stripes are matched across the seams on every chair.
Where it works. Pub lounges and snugs, hotel lobbies, bar corners and as a feature pair either side of a fireplace.
Fabric. The stripe shown can be swapped for a plain velvet, wool or your own fabric (COM), with foams and fabrics specified to BS 7176 medium hazard on request.
Options. Fabric, frame stain and seat height.
