This booth is designed around the cleaning routine. The seat cushion is not stapled to the frame: it lifts straight off, revealing a deck of serpentine steel springs across a timber frame. Staff can vacuum out crumbs, find dropped cutlery and check the springs in seconds, and a worn cushion can be swapped without calling in an upholsterer.
At the back of the seat, a gap between deck and back panel lets debris fall through instead of collecting in the crease, where most booths start to smell. The back is a plain panel in burgundy faux leather, the same as the seat, and the booth stands on a black recessed plinth.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood carcass; serpentine springs clipped to the seat rails; seat cushion built on a firm board with locating dowels so it sits square every time it is replaced; back upholstered on a board and fixed from behind.
Where it works. Busy pubs, family restaurants, diners and any venue with a nightly deep clean.
Options. Faux leather or fabric colour, spare cushions supplied with the order, back height, and single or double-sided units. Foams and coverings specified to BS 7176 medium hazard on request.
