Assembled booths are mostly air when they are packed, and they are awkward to carry up a staircase or round a tight landing. The Doorway Two-Part Booth separates into two parts: the seat box and the back.
They join with aluminium locating rails and bolts, finished on each side with a 50 mm brass bolt cap that unscrews to release the back. With the back removed, the packed height of each piece is roughly halved, which makes it easier to deliver into basements, first-floor dining rooms and listed buildings where walls and doorframes cannot be touched.
On site. Carry the parts in, slide the back onto the rails, fit the bolts and caps. The finished booth looks the same as a one-piece unit.
Freight. Smaller packed sizes use container space more efficiently.
Construction. Rigid seat box, separate braced back, aluminium rails, bolted connection, brass caps.
Options. Length, back height and style, upholstery, cap finish.
