Everything about this booth is rounded. The back is two soft lobes in cream leather, each stitched in fine vertical channels and joined at the centre. The arms are low barrels, also channelled, and the seat is a smooth cushion with a rounded front. It stands on four short tapered wooden legs.
The colour is in the combinations. Shown are cream backs with orange seats and sage arms, with olive seats and orange arms, and with olive arms and tan seats, used in facing pairs around walnut-tone tables in a planted, forest-view dining room. Mixing combinations across a floor keeps a large room from feeling uniform.
Construction. Hardwood frame with shaped foam over webbing; channels stitched into each lobe before assembly; sprung seat; solid timber legs with glides. Free-standing, so pairs can be regrouped.
Where it works. Cafés, family restaurants, garden centre restaurants and brunch rooms where a soft, friendly look matters and covers must wipe clean.
Options. Any combination of back, arm and seat colours in leather or faux leather; two- or three-seat widths; leg finish. Foams and fabrics specified to BS 7176 medium hazard on request.
