Corner Wing Pod Seats are one-person booths: a single seat surrounded by a high back and two tall wings, so the person sitting in it is shielded on three sides. Two pods are shown joined at a right angle, which turns an awkward corner into a sheltered spot for two, each with their own seat.
They are upholstered in an oatmeal bouclé, with ochre piping round the seat and wings and a slim brass trim along the top edges. Each pod sits on a dark timber plinth.
Why pods. Many pubs and cafés have a corner or column bay too small for a full booth. A pod fills it with a seat people actually want, works for lone diners and laptop users, and can be added one at a time.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frame per pod, upholstered wings over foam, brass-finish trim fixed with concealed screws, plinth with levelling feet. Pods bolt together through the wings so they can be split up later.
Options. Single pods, corner pairs or a row; wing height; fabric or faux leather; trim finish. Each pod fits through a standard doorway as one piece.
